Arizona Governor Submits Revised Medicaid Proposal With Enrollment Limits, Wellness Incentives & Benefit Modernization
On March 31, 2011, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer submitted a revised Medicaid proposal to the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS); the state’s current 1115 Medicaid waiver expires September 30, 2011. The proposal includes enrollment limits, wellness incentives, and payment and benefit modernization; it also includes support for integrated care for people with behavioral health disorders and children with special needs.
