Medica Creates In-House Health Coaching Program For Disease Management

OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News On April 15, 2008, Medica announced the creation of an in-house health coaching program to help its members manage their health. Medica, a non-profit health insurance company, will launch the program in the fall to replace its existing disease management program run by Matria with Medica staff oversight. Medica health coaches will work with each participating member to target overall health, as opposed to a single-condition approach.
