April 30, 2001 North Dakota's Prairie Psychiatric Center Opens 12 More Beds Prairie Psychiatric Center in Fargo, North Dakota opened 12 additional inpatient beds for adults on March 19, 2001. The new unit brings the total available beds to 53, which includes 29 pediatric and 24 adult beds. The new beds are also available for transitional care/partial hospitalization.
