Shiv Shankar Wins $3.5 Million Contract To Provide Health Care For Homeless Veterans In Las Vegas, Nevada

On March 30, 2013, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) awarded a five-year contract valued at $3.5 million to Shiv Shankar, LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada to provide recuperative care interim housing services for homeless veterans participating in the VA Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program. The contract started April 1, 2013 and runs through March 31, 2018. Shiv Shankar will provide 15 beds for the program.
