70% Of Employers Plan To Continue Offering Health Coverage After 2014
Nearly 70% of employers plan to keep offering health coverage to workers after 2014 when the health insurance exchanges authorized by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA) go live. In 2012, 46% of employers planned to offer employer-sponsored health care after 2014. The findings were released in preliminary survey results for ”2013 Employer-Sponsored Health Care: ACA’s Impact” by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
