May 10, 2004 ACS Awarded Funding Increase in Dallas Workforce Contract On April 21, 2004, Affiliated Computer Services Inc. (ACS), a provider of business process and information technology outsourcing solutions, announced that WorkSource for Dallas County (Texas) has awarded ACS an additional $374,000 to expand services to its Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program, which offers re-employment services for disadvantaged youths and adults, those unemployed due to downsizing, and those lacking competitive job skills.
