May 14, 2007 Michael Januse Named Deputy Director of California Council on Developmental Disabilities In June 2007, Michael Januse will begin serving as deputy director of the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD). His duties will include working on the councilÂ’s strategic plan. Mr. Januse brings experience gained between 1997and 2001 when he served as an advocacy services coordinator for the SCDD Area 8 board, which covers Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, and Tulare counties.
