NQF Endorses Multiple Chronic Conditions Measurement Framework
On May 3, 2012, the National Quality Forum (NQF) announced it had endorsed the Multiple Chronic Conditions (MCC) Measurement Framework which was released for public comment during December 2011. The endorsement means the framework can be used by a variety of stakeholders to guide future measure development pertaining to quality of care for individuals with multiple chronic health conditions. In addition, the framework can help guide measure selection for public reporting and payment, provide input to emerging care delivery models, and inform research needs for this population.
