Personal Counseling Strategies Show Best Success for Weight Loss Maintenance
OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News Study participants, who had recently lost an average of 18.7 pounds, who were engaged in personal counseling maintained an average weight loss of 9.2 pounds, while participants engaged in web-based and self-directed weight loss maintenance programs maintained an average weight loss of 7.3 and 6.4 pounds, respectively, over a two- and a-half-year study.
