Ohio to Rebid Medicaid Managed Care Program in July 2011
On May 27, 2011, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) announced plans to rebid its Medicaid managed care program contracts in late July or August 2011. The coming request for applications will seek managed care organizations (MCOs) for full risk contracts to serve all current Medicaid populations—approximately 1.6 million state residents and a new group of 37,000 children with disabilities who have, up to this point, been served by fee-for-service Medicaid.
