June 18, 2007 Between 2002 & 2004, Maryland Received $65 Million in Overpayments for Medicaid School-Based Health Services In fiscal years 2002 through 2004, the State of Maryland received overpayments totaling more than $65 million, using a Medicaid reimbursement rate of $82 per service for school-based health services. The state was unable to show that the per-service rate was based on the actual cost of services.
