June 30, 2003 Office of Drug Evaluation Announces New Deputy Office Director  On May 30, 2003, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced Brian Harvey, M.D. Ph.D., as the new deputy office director at Office of Drug Evaluation. Dr. Harvey joined FDA in 1995 as a medical officer and has served in clinical review and management positions in both the medical devices and biologics centers at FDA. He is actively involved in FDA interagency collaborations with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). He . . .
