OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News On June 12, 2008, Microsoft announced a multi-vendor alliance that will address the problems of meshing incompatible legacy information technology systems used by health and human service agencies. The alliance will seek to set industry standards for connecting state and jurisdictional human service systems to give providers a comprehensive view of consumer needs.
