Assurant Health Partners With TelaDoc To Provide Members With 24/7 Phone Consultations

OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News On June 16, 2008, Assurant Health, Milwaukee, a unit of Assurant Inc., New York, announced a partnership with Dallas, Texas-based TelaDoc Inc., to provide members with 24/7 telephone access to a national network of board-certified, licensed primary care physicians. The TelaDoc services will be offered to new clients in selected Assurant Health plans starting September 1, 2008. TelaDoc services are provided at a cost of $35 per call.
