Louisiana Blue Cross Plan To Provide Telehealth Benefit For Plan With Medical Homes

On June 5, 2013, BlueCross and BlueShield of Louisiana (BCBSLA) announced plans to offer a telehealth benefit starting in the fall of 2013 for members of its new Quality Blue Primary Care (QBPC) plan. QBPC is a patient-centered medical home arrangement that pays physicians for coordinating patients’ care and focusing on patient wellness.
