UnitedHealth Group & Cisco Launch Connected Care Telehealth Program With Project HOPE To Expand Health Care Access in New Mexico

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News On July 15, 2009, UnitedHealth Group and Cisco Systems Inc. announced they are partnering to build the first national telehealth network, called “Connected Care” which will be used in a New Mexico Project HOPE program to expand health care access. Connected Care combines audio and video technology and health resources to expand physicians’ reach into rural, urban, and other underserved areas.
