Employers Winning ADA Lawsuits

OPEN MINDS On-Line News Employers prevailed in 95.7% of employment court cases in 1999 under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), up from 94.4% in 1998 and 91.6% from 1992 to 1997. According to the American Bar AssociationÂ’s Commission on Mental and Physical Disability Law third annual survey of employment cases under the ADA Title I, the percentage of employees winning ADA lawsuits continues to decline.
