Medicare Sets 2013 CMHC Partial Hospitalization Level I Rates At $87.76, Down 10% From 2012

Medicare will pay community mental health centers (CMHCs) a median per diem fee of $87.74 for Level I partial hospitalization program (PHP) services according to the proposed rule for calendar year 2013. This is a 10% decline from the 2012 median rate of $97.78 for Level I services. For CMHCs providing four or more PHP services, the median Level II rate is proposed at $111.89.
