Gold, M.D. has been appointed the new Dean of the Drexel University School of Public Health, effective August 1. She replaces Dr. Robert Valdez who is retiring from his position. Prior to this position, Dr. Gold was Section Chief for HIV/AIDS Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Drexel University, and served the City of Philadelphia as Assistant Health Commissioner of Infectious Disease Control.
