Aetna Launches 5 ACO Deals In Maine To Serve State Employees
On August 1, 2013, Aetna announced five accountable care organization (ACO) agreements in Maine that align payment for medical services at five major health systems with improved quality, efficiency, and patient experiences. The systems are Mercy Health System of Portland; InterMed, P.A. of Portland; MaineHealth of Portland; Martin’s Point Health Care of Portland; and MaineGeneral Health of Augusta.
