August 20, 2007 Vital Signs, Inc., Acquires Southern Sleep Technologies, LLC & Southern Home Respiratory Care LLC On July 17, 2007, Sleep Services of America, Inc. (SSA), a subsidiary of Vital Signs, Inc., announced it had acquired Southern Sleep Technologies, LLC & Southern Home Respiratory Care LLC. The acquisitions will allow SSA to expand its sleep improvement business geographically in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. Its range of sleep services includes: diagnostic, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) device training and use, and follow-up services. Southern Sleep and Southern Home Respiratory together had revenue of $2.1 million in 2006 . . .
