Minnesota School District Creates Partnership With Headway Emotional Health To Place Mental Health Counselors at All Schools
On August 2, 2011, the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage school district in Burnsville, Minnesota (near Minneapolis) announced a partnership with Headway Emotional Health Services, a local community mental health service provider organization, which will co-locate seven licensed mental health professionals across the district’s 15 schools to serve 9,800 students. The contract covers the 2011-2012 school year; the contract value was not provided.
