On July 1, 2012, San Diego County California awarded Vista Hill Foundation a five-year contract valued at $4.3 million to provide short-term stabilization treatment for children and youth referred by the county. The county released the request for proposals (RFP) on March 7, 2012, and proposals were due by April 12. Vista Hill Foundation, the incumbent, submitted the only proposal and was awarded the contract. The contract term started July 1, 2012 and runs through June 30, 2013, followed by four one-year renewal option periods.
