NCQA Unveils New Case Management Accreditation; Alere, Monroe Plan For Medical Care, & OptumHealth Care Solutions Apply
On July 30, 2012, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) released its new Case Management (CM) Accreditation program for organizations managing patients with complex health and social needs. Alere, Monroe Plan for Medical Care, and OptumHealth Care Solutions are the first three organizations to seek the new accreditation to demonstrate how well an organization performs care management activities. The NCQA CM Accreditation is awarded for a two-year or three-year period.
