September 12, 2005 Winston-Salem Nonprofit Changes Name In August 2005, The Association for the Benefit of Child Development (ABCD) changed its name to Imprints. The non-profit organization is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and has been assisting families and children in the area since the 1960s. The new name more accurately reflects the array of services the group provides, according to Nikki Byers, Executive Director of Imprints.
