Milwaukee Health Services & Former EHR Vendor Sue Over Rights To Patient Records
After community health center Milwaukee Health Services (MHS) allowed a contract with its electronic health record (EHR) vendor to end before the transition to a new EHR vendor was completed, the former vendor refused to provide MHS with the patient record data unless MHS contracted for another year of access to the records.
