September 17, 2007 Los Angeles Board of Education to Allow Green Dot to Convert Locke Senior High School to Charter Status On September 11, 2007 the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Board of Education voted to allow Green Dot Public Schools to convert Locke Senior High School into a charter school.
