UnitedHealthcare To Acquire Monarch HealthCare California Physician Management Group
UnitedHealthcare of California has submitted plans to acquire the management arm of Monarch HealthCare, a physician management group based in Irvine, California. The application must be approved by the California Department of Managed Health Care before the acquisition can be finalized. Monarch HealthCare has 2,300 physicians, including behavioral health professionals, and operates as a managed care organization.
