Limited Evidence Shows Value-Based Purchasing Improves Outcomes & Lowers Health Care Costs
Although value-based approaches are new to health care, the limited evidence that is available has shown that the approach is improving health outcomes and reducing health care costs. Much of the evidence, up to this point, is contingent on assumptions about market environments and specific strategies.
