10% Of Adults Worldwide Have Chronic Kidney Disease
Worldwide, about 10% of adults are living with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Only 3% of adults have been diagnosed with CKD and the remaining 7% are estimated to have undiagnosed CKD based on laboratory test results consistent with CKD. These estimates are based on a study of CKD rates and CKD indicator tests conducted in 11 countries.
