October 3, 2005 Rhode Island Developmental Disabilities Director ResignsOn September 3, 2005, Lynda Kahn resigned as the Executive Director of Rhode Island Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Ms. Kahn has served in the position since 1996 and did not give a reason for her resignation. Craig Stenning will serve as Interim Executive Director of DDD until a permantent replacement is hired. As Executive Director, Ms. Kahn's was responsible for overseeing the DDD, which has an annual budget of more than $320 million.
