York County Names State Legislator Beverly Mackereth as Human Services Director

OPEN MINDS On-Line News Industry Newsmakers In July 2008, Pennsylvania state legislator Beverly Mackereth announced plans to retire November 30, 2008, at the end of her term, to become director of Human Services in York County on December 1. She follows Judith Bassett, Ed.D., who resigned in May 2008. The York County Board of Commissioners approached Representative Mackereth about the position in June.
