Community Partnership of Southern Arizona Withdraws Protest, Cenpatico to Take Over

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Hot News On September 13, 2010 Community Partnership of Southern Arizona (CPSA) withdrew its appeal of procedural points of Arizona’s selection of Cenpatico Behavioral Health of Arizona (Cenpatico) to serve as the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) for Cochise, Santa Cruz, Greenenlee, and Graham counties. CPSA had protested the award in March 2010 and the state procurement body had been reviewing the protocols. The contract, valued at $40 million, and oversight for publicly funded mental health services will be transitioned to Cenpatico by December 1, 2010.
