Employer Health Care Costs to Increase by 10.5% for 2010

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News Employer health care costs are projected to increase by an average of 10.5% by August 2010. According to health care insurers surveyed, point of service (POS) plans and health maintenance organizations (HMO) will increase rates by 10.4%. Preferred provider organizations will increase rates by 10.7%, and consumer-driven health care plans will increase by 10.5%.
