Northwest Community Care Network Expanding Behavioral Health Integration Pilot Projects

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News The Northwest Community Care Network (NCCN), which provides case management and other related services to the Medicaid population in Forsyth, Stokes, Davie, Yadkin, Surry, and Wilkes counties in North Carolina, is expanding its Behavioral Health Integration pilot projects. Seven primary care physician (PCP) practices will be staffed with mental health providers. NCCN is providing grants of $25,000 to assist in staffing primary care practices with mental health providers. The expansion PCPs will be selected the first week of November 2009.
