October 21, 2002 D.C. Child and Family Services Initiates 2003 Goals Early to Protect Children The D.C. Child and Family Services Agency showed dedication to the children it protects by its response to two incidences of sexual experimentation at two different group foster homes in July and August. In a period of 24 hours, case workers visited 100 of the 188 children under the age of 12 living in group homes, and saw the remaining children in the days that followed. Both incidences revolved around an older boy acting out sexually toward a younger boy. Mindy Good, Public . . .
