CMS Approves New Jersey’s Comprehensive Medicaid Waiver, Behavioral Health ASO RFP Slated For Release In First Quarter 2013
On October 4, 2012, the New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) announced that the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) had approved New Jersey’s Comprehensive Medicaid Waiver. As part of that waiver, which includes system change provisions affecting multiple populations and services, the state plans to deliver Medicaid behavioral health services for adults through a private administrative services organization (ASO).
