Illinois Puts Managed Behavioral Program Out to Bid
OPEN MINDS On-Line News Illinois is putting its managed behavioral program out to bid. The state is requesting proposals for a fully capitated managed behavioral health carved-out benefit program for the 200,000 enrollees of the stateÂ’s self-insured indemnity plans. A separate option may be included for an employee assistance program for active state employees. In addition to the indemnity plans offered, Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) and Point of Service (POS) products may be available within the membersÂ’ geographic region.
