Magellan to Focus on Short-Term Residential Treatment Model for Youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance
OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Childrens Services On September 30, 2010, Magellan Health Services announced that it planned to expand its use of a Short-Term Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) model; compared to traditional standards, the Short-Term RTF model decreased the amount of time that youth with serious emotional disturbances spent in a residential treatment facility.
