Nebraska Cancels Contracts with Out-of-State Provider Organizations Serving Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Intellectual & Developmental Disability Services The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has revised how it contracts for support services for individuals with developmental disabilities, and will no longer contract with out-of-state provider organizations. The change was intended to ensure that DHHS Division of Developmental Disabilities had legal jurisdiction to oversee and regulate consumer safety and service quality assurance as required by its Medicaid waiver.
