Independence Blue Cross Adds MinuteClinics as Participating Providers in PPO Network

OPEN MINDS On-Line News Strategic Health Care News On October 14, 2008, Independence Blue Cross (IBC) added MinuteClinic retail clinics as participating health care providers within IBC's Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) network. The addition will enable IBC members in the southeastern Pennsylvania region who have Personal Choice coverage to visit MinuteClinics and pay their usual out-of-pocket cost for a primary care visit.
