November 5, 2007 Alaska DHHS Planning 44-Bed Youth Psychiatric Facility in Eklutna The Alaska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) plans to construct a $21 million, 44-bed facility on a 20-acre site in Eklutna to provide treatment for children with emotional and mental health problems. The funding will be divided equally among state grants, the Denali Commission federal funding, and the Southcentral Foundation.
