November 5, 2007 RelayHealth Develops webVisit® Program For Virtual Office Visits RelayHealth has developed a webVisit reimbursement protocol that pays $30 to physicians for answering current patients’ questions concerning routine health issues via e-mail or through a Web-based portal. The reimbursement rate is targeted to be about half the rate of an in-person Level 3 office visit with an established patient. Patients not covered by insurance are able to pay out-of-pocket via a credit card for a webVisit with their participating physician.
