November 13, 2006 Michigan Finalizes Mandatory On-Line Learning Requirement for Class of 2011 On October 10, 2006, the state of Michigan Department of Education finalized requirements for the on-line learning component of new graduation requirements adopted in April 2006. Students may choose between taking an approved not-for-credit program or take a for-credit on-line course that can satisfy other requirements of the Michigan Merit Curriculum.
