November 20, 2006 Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center Closes The Oaks Psychiatric Facility Based on the changing needs of the community, Florida-based Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center (SRRMC) decided to close The Oaks, its inpatient psychiatric facility on October 24, 2006, and convert the facility into an acute care treatment center. The Oaks is a16-bed voluntary, inpatient general psychiatric facility which provides treatment for patients 18 years of age and older.
