November 22, 2004 Alaska Psychiatric Institute Adds Telepsychiatry Capability Through GCI ConnectMD Software Solution GCI announced October 25, 2004, that the Alaska Psychiatric Institute (API) has added a telepsychiatry capability through the GCI ConnectMD software solution network. Through the network, API, the largest behavioral health facility in Alaska, will begin providing telepsychiatry services to health clinics throughout the state. Alaska Psychiatric Institute is to expand its behavioral health services to rural health clinics by providing telepsychiatry via ConnectMD's electronic medical services platform. API's new partnership with ConnectMD will allow for better and more cost-efficient consumer care services . . .
