Michigan Medicaid Selects Eight Integrated Care Organizations For Duals Demonstration Program
On November 5, 2013, the Michigan Department of Community Health (DCH) selected eight managed care organizations (MCO) to become Integrated Care Organizations (ICO) for the state’s integrated care demonstration for people eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare. The three-year demonstration project is planned in four regions of the state. Approximately 105,000 dual eligible individuals will be able to participate. Implementation will be phased in between July 2014 and January 2015.
