39% Of Hospitals In Integrated Systems Use Long-Term Incentives In Executive Compensation Plans
Of hospitals in integrated health systems, 39% use long-term incentive plans in their executive compensation plans. A long-term incentive plan links compensation to achievement of long-term strategic objectives. The prevalence of this compensation structure has more than doubled since 2006, when it was offered by 14% of facilities, and since 2012 when it was offered by 17% of facilities.
The findings were reported in the 2013 Hay Group Healthcare Compensation Study. The annual study reports findings for integrated health systems and for hospitals. Hay Group has conducted the study for the past 30 years . . .
