Medicare Has Made Decision To Pay For Non F2F Management Services Starting 2015 & Additional Reimbursement Details To Follow
Medicare plans to establish a separate payment in 2015 for non-face-to-face (F2F) chronic disease management (CCM) services delivered by primary care professionals to coordinate care for patients with two or more chronic health conditions. Currently, Medicare covers non-F2F chronic condition management services as a component of evaluation and management (E/M) services; payment for the non-face-to-face services is bundled into the E/M payment.
