15% Of Mental Health Apps Refer Users To 988 & 24% Offer An Alternative Hotline

More than one year after the rollout of the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in July, 2022, only 15% of mental health apps available for download in the United States had incorporated information on this national standard for crisis support as of 2024, according to a recent assessment.
